REA Elektronik laser marking technology developments
Overview
REA Elektronik has introduced new laser marking technologies designed to meet traceability requirements and Digital Product Pass (DPP) regulations.
At the Fakuma 2026 exhibition, the company showcased integrated marking solutions for injection-molded parts in collaboration with Dr. Boy Spritzgießautomaten. These demonstrations included the use of a fiber laser to create sharp text and logos on food-safe materials and customized markings on items such as sporks.
Following these developments, REA Elektronik announced the REA LASER ExtruMark 200, a mobile inline laser marking system specifically for extruded plastic pipes and profiles. This plug-and-play solution allows for engraving or color changes on components with diameters between 5 and 200 millimeters without the use of ink, labels, or solvents.
