REA Elektronik unveils REA LASER ExtruMark 200 for plastic extrusion
REA Elektronik has announced the REA LASER ExtruMark 200, a mobile inline laser marking solution designed for extruded plastic pipes and profiles. The system is scheduled for presentation at Fakuma 2026.
Developed to meet increasing traceability requirements and the upcoming Digital Product Pass (DPP) regulations, the ExtruMark 200 offers a plug-and-play alternative to traditional analog printing or embossing systems. The device is mobile and can mark components with diameters ranging from 5 to 200 millimeters using engraving or color changes.
The system operates without the need for ink, labels, or solvents, aiming to reduce maintenance and operational costs associated with consumable-based marking. It is designed for continuous industrial use in demanding environments and can utilize CO2, fiber, or UV lasers to apply information such as material designations, batch numbers, logos, and 2D codes.
