Real Betis rejects January interest in Troy Parrott from Premier League clubs

Real Betis has ruled out the sale of striker Troy Parrott during the upcoming January transfer window, despite reported interest from Premier League clubs Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Parrott, an Irish international, joined Betis from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2024. He has performed well in Spain, recording three goal involvements in seven matches. The Spanish club holds a strong position in negotiations, as Parrott is under contract until 2031 and possesses a €100 million release clause.

Manchester United has been linked to the striker due to attacking depth concerns, including injuries to Benjamin Sesko. Tottenham Hotspur has also been monitoring the player to bolster their offensive options. While a mid-season move is off the table, interest from English clubs may resurface ahead of the summer 2027 window.
