Real estate investment trusts report dividend updates and institutional shifts

Extra Space Storage Inc has announced a quarterly dividend of $1.62 per share. Investors of record as of September 15 will receive the payment on September 30. This dividend represents a 4.4% yield.

In separate real estate investment trust activity, Westpac Banking Corp acquired 75,217 shares of Rexford Industrial Realty, Inc. during the second quarter. The position is valued at approximately $2,520,000.
