Real Estate Registry launches registration for 30,643 parcels in Saudi Arabia
The Real Estate Registry has announced the commencement of the first phase of in-kind registration for 30,643 real estate parcels across five regions in Saudi Arabia: Riyadh, Al-Qassim, the Eastern Province, Makkah, and Madinah.
This initiative aims to establish a comprehensive and unified real estate registry to enhance reliability and transparency within the Kingdom’s property sector. The registration covers various neighborhoods and districts, including parts of Madinah (Rahat, Warqan, Al-Hamra), Riyadh (Al-Ghadha, Al-Khuzama, Al-Atiyan, Al-Kuraiss, and parts of Houtat Bani Tamim), and Al-Qassim (Dhariyah and various districts in Al-Mutiwi).
In the Makkah region, registration includes parts of Al-Hada in Taif and Al-Hamra in Jeddah. The Eastern Province coverage is extensive, spanning Al-Rafia, Al-Sadawei, Al-Sa'ira, Al-Qaysumah, Al-Lahaba, Hafr Al-Batin, and Qaryat al-Ulya.
Property owners within the designated areas are required to register their properties through the Real Estate Registry platform (rer.sa) or its mobile application before the deadline on Thursday, December 24, 2026. The registry noted that further regions and neighborhoods will be announced in subsequent phases.
