On September 6, 2026, the Real Estate Registry officially commenced the first phase of this registration, covering various neighborhoods in Riyadh and Al-Qassim, with a deadline of December 10, 2026.

On September 8, 2026, the Real Estate General Authority expanded the scope of in-kind registration to the Makkah region. Starting September 13, 2026, and running until December 17, 2026, the process will target part of the Rei' Dhakhir neighborhood. Property owners must register via the electronic Real Estate Registry platform or service centers using a valid ownership deed, noting that failure to comply may result in financial fines.

Additionally, the Ministry of Housing’s Sakani program continues to facilitate access to free land grants in various provinces, including Jeddah, through its digital platform.
