Real Madrid named world's most valuable football club brand

Real Madrid has been named the world’s most valuable football club brand for the third consecutive year, according to the 2026 Football 50 report by Brand Finance. The club’s brand value rose 25 percent to EUR 2.4 billion (approximately USD 2.766 billion), making it the first football club to surpass the EUR 2 billion mark. This growth is attributed to record revenues and the successful redevelopment of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Real Madrid also holds the highest Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 95.8 out of 100. FC Barcelona follows in second place with a brand value of USD 2.276 billion. Arsenal has also seen significant movement, breaking into the top three for the first time with a brand value of USD 1.772 billion.

The report highlights a growing gap in the industry, noting that the top 10 clubs now account for more than 60 percent of football’s total brand value. Globally, the combined brand value of the top 50 clubs has reached a record EUR 23.9 billion, representing the highest annual growth in the history of sports brands.
