Real Madrid named world's most valuable football brand
Real Madrid has been named the world’s most valuable football brand for the third consecutive year, according to the ‘Football 50-2026’ report by Brand Finance. The club’s brand value increased by 25% to reach 2.4 billion euros, making it the first club in the history of the ranking to exceed the 2 billion euro mark. Real Madrid also maintained the highest Brand Strength Index score of 95.8 out of 100.
Growth for Real Madrid was attributed to record revenues and the full-capacity operation of the renovated Santiago Bernabéu stadium. FC Barcelona follows in second place with a 15% increase in brand value, reaching 2 billion euros, supported by recent La Liga titles and the return to Spotify Camp Nou.
Arsenal emerged as the most significant climber in the rankings, rising five positions with a 28% increase in value following a Premier League title and a Champions League final appearance. Other top-ranked clubs include Bayern Munich in fourth, Paris Saint-Germain in fifth, and Manchester City in sixth.
