Real Madrid targets Arsenal's Martín Zubimendi

Real Madrid has identified Arsenal midfielder Martín Zubimendi as a primary target for the midfield following their failed attempt to sign Rodri, who ultimately chose to join FC Barcelona.

Reports indicate that Arsenal may be open to selling the Spanish international to maintain financial flexibility and facilitate the acquisition of Bruno Guimaraes. However, Arsenal is reportedly demanding a significant fee for Zubimendi, with figures cited as high as €90 million, which exceeds the amount they paid for him previously.

Zubimendi has been a long-term interest for Real Madrid, having tracked him during his time at Real Sociedad. While his role at Arsenal saw him feature in every Premier League match last season, his playing time has reportedly fluctuated recently, including missing the starting lineup for the Champions League final.
