Reality Fracture release drives new Magic: The Gathering deck archetypes

The Standard metagame for Magic: The Gathering is evolving following the release of the Reality Fracture set, leading to the emergence of diverse deck archetypes.

One notable strategy involves “soup decks,” which are multicolor good-stuff decks that combine powerful cards from multiple colors rather than adhering to a single archetype. These decks rely heavily on mana fixing to successfully cast high-value spells across three, four, or even five colors.

Additionally, a mono-green ramp deck has gained traction in Magic Online Standard Leagues. This strategy focuses on using low-cost creatures like Llanowar Elves and Simulacrum Shaper to accelerate mana production, eventually ramping into massive Eldrazi threats such as Emrakul, the Exigent Doom. The deck utilizes Interdimensional Web Watch to bridge the gap between early-game setup and late-game payoffs.
