Realme 16x 5G launches in India on Aug 12 with 7,000 mAh battery

Realme has confirmed that its budget‑friendly 5G smartphone, the Realme 16x 5G, will be launched in India on 12 August 2026 at 12 PM IST. The device will be sold through Flipkart and the official Realme India website.

Key specifications include a 7,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, bypass and reverse charging, and a six‑year battery‑health guarantee. The phone sports a 6.8‑inch FHD+ display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, offers up to 14 GB of dynamic RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, and features Realme’s Flux Engine and GT Boost gaming optimisation with a 5,300 mm² vapor‑chamber cooling system.

The rear camera is a 50 MP AI sensor with AI Eraser, AI Ultra‑Clarity, Motion Photo and Dual‑View Video modes. The handset is rated IP65 for dust and splash resistance and meets MIL‑STD‑810H shock‑resistance standards. It will be available in Endurance Brown and Glory White (also described as Blooming Brown/Silver). Pricing details have not been disclosed.
