Realme and Huawei unveil new smartphones in Brazil

Realme launched the realme 16x 5G in Brazil, offering a 6,600 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, 144 Hz refresh rate, IP64 dust‑and‑splash protection, ArmorShell impact resistance and a 50‑MP main camera. The device is available for pre‑order on Mercado Libre and is promoted internationally by Brazilian footballer Raphinha.

Huawei introduced the nova 15 Max, featuring an 8,500 mAh battery that supports up to 49 hours of calls, 27 hours of video playback and 62 hours of music, alongside 45 W fast charging and reverse charging. It ships with a 6.84‑inch OLED display, a 50‑MP Ultra‑Clear RYYB camera, IP65 protection and Wi‑Fi 7 support. The phone is on sale during Huawei's 7.7 campaign on Mercado Libre with discounts of up to 33 %. Both launches target Brazil’s young, mobile‑focused consumers.
