realme announces Harry Potter Edition 16 Pro smartphone

Smartphone manufacturer realme has announced the launch of the realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition, a special collector's device developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. The release is scheduled for September 21, 2026, in India and Indonesia.

The handset features a unique design inspired by the Wizarding World, including a brown leather-textured back with an argyle pattern and a central Hogwarts crest. The device utilizes “quadra light-sensing” technology, allowing the rear panel to change color based on ambient light. Additionally, the camera module is designed to mimic the eyes of the owl Hedwig, and the metallic frame is laser-engraved with the phrase “Welcome to Hogwarts”.

A limited-edition collector package, styled as a 1:1 scale replica of a Hogwarts school trunk, will be available for 5,000 units worldwide. This bundle includes themed items such as a replica acceptance letter, a Hogwarts Express train ticket, house bookmarks, and character postcards.
