Realme launches Harry Potter Edition 16 Pro 5G smartphone

Realme has launched the Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, a limited-edition smartphone developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery. The device features a Magic Brown vegan leather design with a 3D diamond pattern inspired by Wizard's Chess and a camera module modeled after Hedwig the owl.

A standout technical feature is the Quadra Light-sensing color-changing technology, which allows the Hogwarts crest on the back panel to reveal the colors of the four houses—Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw—when exposed to ultraviolet light. The software experience includes a themed UI 7.0 based on Android 16, featuring custom wallpapers, widgets, and a Sorting Hat-inspired initial setup that assigns users to a house.

The release includes a collector's gift set in a trunk-shaped box containing items such as a Hogwarts acceptance letter, character postcards, and house bookmarks. The package also features the Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition earbuds. In India, the device was priced at INR 62,999 and reportedly sold out within 24 hours.
