ZEvent 2026 charity marathon launches in Montpellier

The tenth and final edition of ZEvent, a massive charity marathon organized by streamers, has launched in Montpellier, France. Co-founder Zerator (Adrien Nougaret) noted the event's growth from its humble 2016 beginnings to its current scale, which involves approximately 80 creators on-site and over 300 participating remotely.

The event has already seen significant financial momentum. Early donations include 50,000 euros from Twitch, 50,000 euros from Gims, and a record-breaking 100,000 euros from the duo Big Flo & Oli. By mid-marathon, total funds raised had already surpassed 11 million euros, rapidly approaching the previous record of over 16 million euros set in 2025.

Participants are engaging in various challenges to meet donation goals, ranging from karaoke to physical feats. The marathon aims to support approximately twenty different associations through a series of continuous live broadcasts.
