The tenth and final edition of ZEvent, held from September 4 to 6, 2026, in Montpellier, France, concluded after raising a record 32,891,874 euros. This total nearly doubles the previous record set in 2025 and represents more than half of the total funds collected across the event’s ten-year history.

The broadcast peaked at nearly 1.4 million simultaneous viewers and saw over 1.7 million individual donations, with an average contribution between 8.58 and 10 euros. Notable individual fundraising efforts included the creator Mastu, who raised over 5 million euros alone, alongside contributions from figures such as Bigflo et Oli and Gims.

The funds, managed by the Fondation de France, are designated for 22 different associations, including Médecins Sans Frontières, Amnesty International, and the Red Cross.

Despite the record-breaking financial success, the event has faced criticism regarding the conduct of certain creators and the methods used to solicit donations. Some observers have described the outcome as having a ‘bittersweet taste’ due to controversies surrounding specific participants and the nature of certain fundraising sequences. While the marathon has ended, organizers expressed their intention to continue supporting future solidarity initiatives.
