Recife hosts jazz dance workshop and Vintage Culture concert

Recife is hosting several cultural events focused on dance and electronic music. The Centro de Artes Grupo Vida in the Madalena neighborhood will host a Jazz Dance workshop led by Lucas Maia on August 29 and 30, 2026. Maia, an award-winning choreographer and dancer, will provide intensive technical and choreographic training for various skill levels, including youth beginners and intermediate/advanced adults.

Additionally, Brazilian DJ and producer Lukas Ruiz, known professionally as Vintage Culture, is scheduled to perform at Classic Hall on November 6. This marks his first appearance at the venue. Ruiz, who is ranked 9th in the DJ Mag Top 100, has achieved significant international recognition with over 1.5 billion streams and performances at major global festivals such as Tomorrowland and Coachella.
