Recklinghausen hosts free concert series during light festival

As part of the 20th edition of the ‘Recklinghausen leuchtet’ light festival, a vacant retail space at Augustinessenstraße 2a will be transformed into the Sparkassen-Clubraum. From October 23 to November 7, the venue will host twelve free concerts across six evenings.

Scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM, the series features various regional musicians, including Epenklang, Dreams Don‘t Sleep, Krawall & Kekse, Coverent, Farbminenstift, Push Play, Pandora, Lost Letters, Maybe Promises, Nachtkind, Anika Belana, and Skittle Alley. The project is organized by Sparkasse Vest Recklinghausen to provide performance opportunities for local young musicians.

The light festival, themed ‘Dreams under the starry sky,’ runs from October 23 to November 8. To accommodate festival visitors, the Krim underground parking garage at Herzogswall will extend its operating hours to 6:00 AM through midnight daily, including weekends and November 1.
