Eight of the 14 scheduled rounds of the 2026 Formula 2 season have been contested, and three drivers from Formula 1 academies have emerged as the principal contenders for the championship. Alpine Academy’s Gabriele Mini follows with 134 points, his sole win offset by consistent top‑eight finishes. Ferrari Driver Academy’s Rafael Camara is third on 125 points, bolstered by four pole positions in the last five events and two race wins. Alpine‑backed Alex Dunne holds fourth place with 108 points after five podiums for Rodin Motorsport.

Other notable performances include Joshua Dürksen ending a 13‑race podium drought, Martinius Stenshorne scoring points for the first time since Monaco, and Dino Beganovic returning to the podium. The Monaco feature race saw Mini lose ground after a slow pit stop, while the Spa‑Francorchamps sprint was disrupted by technical issues for several contenders.
