Red Bull named title sponsor for 2027 Adelaide MotoGP

Red Bull has signed a deal to become the title sponsor for the inaugural Adelaide MotoGP, scheduled to take place from November 12 to 14, 2027. The event, officially named the Red Bull Grand Prix of Australia – Adelaide 2027, marks a significant shift for the championship as it will be the first MotoGP race held on a city street circuit.

The race will utilize the new $96 million Adelaide Street Circuit, a 4.13-kilometre layout featuring 15 corners where bikes are expected to reach speeds of up to 340km/h. The agreement involves Red Bull, MotoGP, and the South Australian Motor Sport Board.

South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas described the partnership as a “massive coup” for the state, noting its potential for international exposure. Officials anticipate that the combined MotoGP and Supercars events could deliver an annual economic return exceeding $200 million, driving tourism and supporting local businesses.
