Red Raketa releases Kalanoro on Nintendo Switch

Red Raketa, a studio based in Madagascar, has released Kalanoro on the Nintendo Switch. The game is inspired by Malagasy folklore and follows the character Kalakely on the island of Lemuria to oppose the witch Raneny.

Kalanoro blends platforming and combat with management elements. Players must manage a band's bus through mini-games, gain popularity among inhabitants, and recruit local musicians to progress through different biomes. The title features a colorful art style and a rhythmic soundtrack.

The studio's development began approximately six years ago through a collaboration involving the artist Orelsan, who helped establish Red Raketa in 2021. The game was published by New Tales and is available digitally on the Nintendo eShop.
