Red Star Belgrade draws with Copenhagen in Conference League

Red Star Belgrade secured their first point in the UEFA Conference League following a 2-2 draw against Copenhagen at the Rajko Mitić Stadium. Despite controlling much of the possession and creating more scoring opportunities than their opponents, the Serbian champions struggled with poor finishing and defensive errors.

Copenhagen managed to capitalize on defensive lapses to secure the draw. The match was further complicated for Red Star when Stefan Gudelj received a red card in stoppage time, meaning he will miss the upcoming match against Inter Escalade on November 5.

Following the match, head coach Albert Riera expressed dissatisfaction with the team's efficiency, noting that while they created many chances, they were not clinical enough. He emphasized that the responsibility for the result lies with the players' mistakes and the team's inability to maintain defensive discipline under pressure.
