TV Globo changes lineup for ‘Amigas’ sertanejo special

TV Globo has announced a lineup change for the second edition of its sertanejo music special, ‘Amigas’. Singers Ana Castela and Lauana Prado will not participate in the upcoming production.

Lauana Prado’s absence is due to a scheduling conflict with her role as a judge on ‘The Voice Brasil’ at SBT. Ana Castela’s departure follows unsuccessful commercial negotiations with the broadcaster, despite her interest in returning to the project.

To fill these vacancies, Paula Fernandes and Naiara Azevedo will join the main cast. They will perform alongside returning artists Maiara & Maraisa and Simone Mendes. The special will also feature guest appearances by Roberta Miranda and Yasmin Santos, aiming to showcase different generations of female sertanejo artists. Recordings are scheduled to take place in late 2024, with the program expected to air in December.
