TV Globo ‘Amigas’ sertanejo special production

Overview

TV Globo announced lineup changes for the second edition of its sertanejo music special, ‘Amigas’. Singers Ana Castela and Lauana Prado were replaced due to commercial negotiation failures and scheduling conflicts, respectively. Paula Fernandes and Naiara Azevedo were brought in to join returning artists Maiara & Maraisa and Simone Mendes, with guest appearances by Roberta Miranda and Yasmin Santos.

Following these adjustments, the artists gathered at Globo Studios to record the special. The production featured an exclusive repertoire and included a tribute to the legacy of Marília Mendonça. The event aimed to showcase various generations of female sertanejo artists.
