Redeemer’s Health Village launches robotic surgery service in Nigeria

Redeemer’s Health Village (RHV) has launched a new robotic surgery service in Lagos to improve healthcare delivery and reduce the necessity for medical tourism in Nigeria. The initiative was unveiled in partnership with ROBOMED Global, a U.S.-based medical technology firm.

Nigeria’s Minister of State for Health, Dr. Iziaq Salako, stated that the service aims to provide precision, faster healing, and improved health outcomes. The program is intended to align with the government’s health transformation agenda and includes plans for nationwide training and certification for surgeons to ensure safe and controlled clinical practice.
