Redford Developments and Breck Homes Submit Major Housing Plans in England

Redford Developments has lodged an outline planning application with Swindon Borough Council to convert the former Nationwide headquarters on Pipers Way into 175 new homes. The proposal includes a mix of two‑ and three‑storey houses, a tree‑retention and planting scheme, a pocket park and a children’s play area, aiming to create a sustainable neighbourhood and improve connectivity in the city’s regeneration area.

Breck Homes has submitted plans to West Lancashire Borough Council for a 232‑home affordable housing estate on the former Ravenhead Brickworks site in Upholland, near Wigan. The scheme will offer two‑, three‑ and four‑bedroom houses as well as one‑ and two‑bedroom apartments for rent and shared ownership, promising construction jobs and investment in local education and community facilities.
