Redmi M100 smartphone launches in China with 7,900mAh battery

Redmi has officially launched the M100 smartphone in China, a budget-friendly device that prioritizes battery life and display size. The handset features a massive 7,900mAh battery, supporting 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

Technical specifications include a 6.9-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, built on a 4nm process, and runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 (also referred to as Surge OS 3). Memory configurations include 6GB or 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

For photography, the M100 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing sensor. The phone is available in three colors: Midnight Black, Starry White, and Wilderness Green. In China, pricing starts at approximately 1,799 yuan.
