Xiaomi launches REDMI Note 17 series with massive batteries

Xiaomi has officially launched the REDMI Note 17 series, introducing four new models: the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G, REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 17 5G, and the standard REDMI Note 17. The series was unveiled during the REDMI Note Max Experience event in Budapest.

A primary focus of this generation is extreme battery capacity and durability. The flagship REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G features a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging. The REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G includes a 9,000mAh battery with 67W charging. Other models in the lineup feature batteries ranging from 7,700mAh to 8,340mAh.

The series introduces ‘REDMI Titan Durability,’ co-developed with TÜV SÜD, offering high resistance to water and drops. The Pro Max and Pro 5G models have earned a 5-star Titan Durability Certification. Hardware specifications include Snapdragon 6 series processors, AMOLED displays with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Xiaomi has also committed to long-term software support, promising up to six years of security updates for the lineup.
