Reggia di Caserta's 'Alba alla Reggia' draws over 2,500 visitors, tripling attendance

On Saturday, 1 August, the Reggia di Caserta hosted the first annual "Alba alla Reggia" event. About 2,500 people attended, more than three times the number recorded at previous editions, indicating strong public interest.

The immersive experience combined a classical concert by the Orchestra Filarmonica Campana, conducted by Jean François Verdier with pianist Stefania Argentieri, and a range of cultural activities such as a breakfast on the museum terrace and tours of the Royal Apartments. Attendees included young people, families and foreign tourists, who moved through the English Garden and the Grande Serra area.

Antonio Tarasco, interim director of the Ministry of Culture’s Institute, said the success shows the strategic value of offering unconventional openings and new time slots to showcase national heritage, and that the surge in visitors opens promising scenarios for future programming.
