Reggio Calabria healthcare updates: labor protections and new disability support

Healthcare services in Reggio Calabria are undergoing significant organizational changes. New labor agreements have secured employment stability for cleaning and sanitization staff at the Grande Ospedale Metropolitano and the Azienda Sanitaria Provinciale (ASP). Following negotiations involving Filcams Cgil, workers will transition to Samsic Italia at the metropolitan hospital, while Dussmann Service S. r. l. will take over services at the ASP starting September 1. These agreements aim to protect wages, job security, and working hours during the transition.

Additionally, the ASP has expanded its community health network by integrating the association Con. Te. Sto. APS into the 'Case della Comunità' network. This partnership will focus on providing specialized support, orientation, and inclusion pathways for individuals dealing with complex disabilities and neurodevelopmental needs.
