Reggio Calabria police issue 70 preventive measures

The Reggio Calabria Police Headquarters has implemented 70 personal preventive measures during the July-August period to enhance public safety and social coexistence. These measures, following investigations by the Anti-Crime Police Division, include a variety of tools tailored to specific social risks.

Key actions include 10 Daspo orders, seven of which relate to illegal conduct during local sporting competitions. Three additional five-year Daspo measures were issued for individuals showing social danger outside of sporting contexts. The police also issued 24 warnings, including 10 for stalking and 14 for domestic violence, as well as 16 oral warnings.

Additionally, eight mandatory expulsion orders (foglio di via obbligatorio) were issued to individuals residing in other provinces suspected of crimes against persons or property in the Reggio area, prohibiting their return for six months to four years. Nine proposals for special public security surveillance have also been submitted to the local court.
