During the July-August period, the Reggio Calabria Police Headquarters implemented 70 personal preventive measures aimed at enhancing public safety and social coexistence. Following investigations by the Anti-Crime Police Division, authorities issued 10 Daspo orders (seven for sporting events and three five-year measures for social danger), 24 warnings (10 for stalking and 14 for domestic violence), 16 oral warnings, eight mandatory expulsion orders for individuals from other provinces, and nine proposals for special public security surveillance.

In September, enforcement actions included five ‘Daspo’ bans targeting football fans and twelve ‘Dacur’ orders, which prohibit youths involved in violent brawls from entering specific urban areas. Authorities also issued warnings regarding domestic violence and stalking, alongside seven proposals for special public security surveillance for individuals linked to organized crime and mafia-related activities.

Concerns regarding social disorder escalated on October 3, following an incident of youth violence in a crowded shopping area. A 13-year-old boy was chased by a group of approximately ten youths, aged 12 to 17, and had to seek refuge in a local shop. While five youths later voluntarily reported to a Carabinieri station claiming they were defending a friend, the matter has been referred to the Juvenile Court.
