Regional cultural and nature festivals scheduled for September 2026

Several cultural and nature-focused events are scheduled for September 2026 in the Balkan region.

In Bosut, Serbia, the cultural-artistic society KUD ‘Bosut’ will host ‘Veče folklora u Bosutu’ on September 6. The event, held at the Branko Radičević Primary School, will feature nine different cultural-artistic societies from the Srem region, showcasing traditional folk songs, dances, and costumes.

In Bosansko Grahovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the inaugural RestFest will take place from September 11 to 13. Originally delayed due to regional wildfires, the festival focuses on nature and relaxation in the Grahovo karst field. Activities include cycling tours, visits to the Ledenice cave, yoga, slacklining, and rock climbing. The event also features a local product market and evening gatherings by the fire.
