In Chile, the Ministry of Energy and the company Colbún are advancing the “Energía Comunitaria Asociativa” project. This community photovoltaic park, located in the Los Lagos region, aims to benefit approximately 200 families in Cochamó and Puerto Montt. The project involves a total investment of 430 million pesos, split equally between public funds and private investment from Colbún. Participating families in sectors such as Lago Chapo are expected to see annual electricity bill reductions of approximately 150,000 pesos.
