Regional development projects launch in Cameroon and Gabon

Several regional development projects are underway in Cameroon and Gabon. In Cameroon, the Groupe Neptune has inaugurated the Maithé Mall in Obala. The new shopping center, described by Minister of Commerce Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana as a ‘next-generation shopping center’, aims to stimulate the Lekié region's economy and support import-substitution policies by prioritizing local agropastoral products.

In Gabon, urban and administrative developments are progressing in multiple cities. In Makokou, a residential project in the Maïga district is constructing 50 modern villas to expand the provincial capital's housing capacity. Meanwhile, in Port-Gentil, the municipal government, led by Mayor Pascal Houangni Ambouroué, has begun reviewing approximately thirty public procurement files. These contracts cover technical equipment, roadworks, real estate, and IT, marking a transition from planning to the execution of local development projects.
