Regional dog exhibitions promote pet adoption in Serbia and Croatia

Regional community events in Serbia and Croatia are focusing on animal welfare and pet companionship through specialized exhibitions.

In Kikinda, Serbia, the third Stray Dog Show was organized by JP Kikinda. The event aimed to promote responsible pet ownership and encourage the adoption of animals from local shelters. The competition featured various categories, including awards for the most obedient dog, best hairstyle, and most photogenic dog, with Popi being crowned the champion of the third exhibition.

In Zagreb, Croatia, the third edition of Dogs’ Café is scheduled to take place at Botaničar. The event features a photography exhibition by Lukša Marotti and personalized caricatures by Nik Titanik. A central component of the gathering is the participation of dogs from the Luč Zagorje Shelter, providing visitors the opportunity to meet animals currently seeking permanent homes.
