Elye Wahi returns to OGC Nice on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt

OGC Nice has reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the return of striker Elye Wahi on a season-long loan. The deal includes a purchase option estimated at 15 million euros, allowing the French club to make the transfer permanent if the 23-year-old performs well.

Negotiations were facilitated by INEOS to ensure the squad remains competitive. Wahi, who previously enjoyed a successful six-month stint at Nice where he scored nine goals in 19 matches, reportedly turned down offers from Lazio Rome and Hull City to return to the Côte d’Azur.

Upon his arrival at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, Wahi was met by hundreds of enthusiastic supporters who celebrated his return. He is scheduled to undergo a medical examination before officially joining the squad.
