Regional German initiatives host career development events for women

Various regional initiatives in Germany are hosting events focused on professional development and career support for women.

On October 13, the CIIT Lemgo will host the ‘She works’ career day. This event aims to support women in the Lippe district looking to re-enter the workforce after parental leave or caregiving, pursue career changes, or start businesses. The program includes a ‘Market of Opportunities’ featuring regional experts and institutions, as well as a lecture by Dr. Miriam Grabenheinrich regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on the working world for women.

Additionally, the ‘Coordination Office for Women & Career’ in the Saarpfalz-Kreis, in cooperation with the Saarpfalz Economic Development Agency, will hold a career breakfast on October 25 at the Kirkel Education Center. Led by psychologist Anna Pietzka, the session will address the ‘impostor phenomenon,’ exploring how self-doubt and perfectionism can affect professional well-being and career progression.
