Regional Halloween festivities planned in Waalwijk and Blankenberge
Various regional cultural events are scheduled to celebrate the Halloween season in Waalwijk, Netherlands, and Blankenberge, Belgium.
In Waalwijk, the De N8 cultural youth festival will feature a horror night at the Schoenkwartier museum on November 20. The event, aimed at youth aged 12 to 18, involves fifteen young participants mentored by the Toneelvereniging O. O. G. theater association. Participants will work on acting, directing, makeup, and costume design to create an immersive experience.
Blankenberge is hosting multiple Halloween festivities during the autumn break. Key events include a fireworks spectacle at the Pier on October 31 and a lighted Halloween parade through the city center on November 1. The city also offers a children's Halloween party with makeup and contests, as well as street theater and a Halloween fair, intended to boost local tourism and hotel occupancy outside the summer season.
