Regional heritage events held in Świdnik and Świebodzice

Various cultural and hobbyist events took place in the Polish region, highlighting local interest in antiques and vintage machinery.

In Świdnik, a monthly flea market was held at Plac Konstytucji 3 Maja. The event featured a diverse array of historical items, including Tsarist-era bells, Vatican stamps, amber, porcelain, and musical instruments. Exhibitors from across the voivodeship offered goods ranging from furniture and clocks to vintage cameras, coins, and books. The market, organized by the Municipal Cultural Center and the City of Świdnik, serves as a gathering point for collectors and enthusiasts of past eras.

Meanwhile, Świebodzice hosted the finish line of the 14th International Vintage Vehicle Rally for the first time. The event included 51 crews participating with cars and motorcycles from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany. Notable entries included a 1934 English Daimler. Local officials noted the event's promotional value for the city, with further presentations of the vehicles scheduled to take place in Szczawno-Zdrój.
