Various regional funding initiatives announced across Italy

Several Italian regions have announced new financial support programs targeting different demographic groups and economic needs.

In the provinces of L’Aquila and Teramo, the Gran Sasso d’Italia Chamber of Commerce has allocated 150,000 euros to support new youth and female-led businesses. The program offers non-repayable grants of up to 50 percent of eligible expenses, with a maximum contribution of 3,500 euros per project. Eligible costs include machinery, software, energy efficiency, and business formation.

In Trentino, the provincial government approved 3 million euros for a first-home purchase initiative for 2026. Young individuals can receive 20,000 euros, young couples 25,000 euros, and large families 30,000 euros. An additional 10,000 euro increase is available for households with a member possessing a disability rating of 75 percent or higher.

In Veneto, 600,000 euros have been designated for the 2026 regional civil service. This funding is intended for accredited entities to develop projects, with each project eligible for up to 30,000 euros. The initiative aims to support local municipalities and the third sector through youth-led services.

Additionally, the Unione Montana dei Comuni dell'Appennino Reggiano, following Emilia-Romagna regional measures, has processed rental assistance for families facing economic difficulties, based on ISEE requirements.
