Regional initiatives expand English language learning access

Various regional initiatives are expanding English language education access. In La Ligua, Chile, the ‘Inglés para Todos’ campaign is offering 1,000 online, live-streamed course slots. The program, organized by Let’s Go Speak, targets professionals and technicians to improve their employability and capacity for remote work through a practical speaking-focused methodology.

In Nava, Mexico, municipal authorities have confirmed that English language instruction will be maintained in 100 percent of local schools for the upcoming academic cycle. Mayor Iván Ochoa Rodríguez stated that the program utilizes specialized teachers to ensure that access to second-language learning is consistent across all educational institutions in the municipality, regardless of the specific school attended.
