Regional initiatives in Italy support medical research and environmental planting

Enel is supporting the Associazione Italiana Sclerosi Multipla (AISM) through the ‘La Mela di AISM’ campaign. On October 1 and 2, 2026, selected Enel stores in the Piedmont region, including locations in Cuneo, Alba, Torino, Nichelino, and Novara, will host volunteers to distribute solidarity apples. This initiative is part of a national fundraising and awareness campaign aimed at supporting scientific research and services for people with multiple sclerosis.

In the Veneto region, a large-scale tree planting initiative has seen significant participation. Residents of Verona led the requests, with 1,235 citizens booking a total of 8,817 native trees and shrubs. Other participating cities included Padova, Vicenza, and Venezia. Managed by Veneto Agricoltura, the program provides free plants to citizens, with distribution scheduled to begin in late October at the AMIA greenhouses.
