Regional initiatives promote labor inclusion in Spain and Chile

Various regional initiatives in Spain and Chile are focusing on enhancing labor inclusion and social reintegration through public-private partnerships.

In Ciudad Real, Spain, the YMCA Castilla-La Mancha organized the ‘YMCA Talento Sin Fronteras’ meeting. The event aimed to create alliances between businesses and social entities to facilitate employment for groups facing significant barriers to entering the labor market. Local officials emphasized that employment is a vital tool for social integration.

In Chile, efforts to improve employability are being seen in both the Tarapacá and Valparaíso regions. In Tarapacá, the ‘Comunidad de Empresas por la Inclusión Laboral’ is working to reintegrate young people into society by providing training, professional internships, and job openings through collaborative agreements with the private sector.

Meanwhile, in Valparaíso, the third edition of the OMIL-ASIVA job fair attracted thousands of participants. Organized by the Municipality of Valparaíso and the Association of Companies of the Valparaíso Region (ASIVA), the event offered 2,450 job vacancies across various sectors, targeting professionals, technicians, and individuals seeking inclusive employment opportunities.
