Regional leaders address infrastructure funding and municipal financial crises

In the Republic of Srpska, Prime Minister Savo Minić has expressed readiness to approve 6.5 million KM for a water supply project in certain settlements of the Semberija region. Following a meeting with Bijeljina Mayor Ljubišas Petrović in Glavičice, Minić stated that funds will be allocated during the first government session provided a certified house confirms the project's validity. While documentation was presented, there remains a dispute regarding whether the documentation constitutes a complete project.

In Budva, the URA political movement has criticized local authorities for signing multi-million euro infrastructure contracts despite the municipality facing potential bankruptcy. According to URA, Mayor Nikola Jovanović reported that only 2.5 million euros remain in the municipal account, which may be insufficient to cover a 3.5 million euro loan due by year-end. The opposition claims the administration is signing large contracts while failing to meet basic obligations and restitution rights for citizens.
