Regional literary events celebrate authors Stojilković and Burdžović

Several literary events were recently held in the region, celebrating the works of local authors. In Šid, the Ilijanum Museum of Naive Art hosted a literary evening dedicated to the novel ‘Ono nešto među nama’ by Silvija Stojilković. The event featured discussions on themes of love, faith, tradition, and youth, with contributions from editor Milijana Dmitrović Torma and reviewer Nataša Nedimović.

In Gusinje, the Cultural Center hosted a promotion for the works of poet and prose writer Saladin Dino Burdžović. The event highlighted his three poetry collections: ‘Rifat’, ‘Osmijeh Jasmine Ahmetspahići’, and ‘El Fatiha za legitimni vojni cilj’. Despite living in Germany for nearly three decades, Burdžović’s work continues to connect local experiences with universal themes, earning him numerous literary awards.
