Regional motorsport victories for Chirinos and the Garro duo

In regional motorsport news, Jimmy Chirinos and co-driver Juan Pablo Echegaray secured the UTV category title at the RallyACP 2026. Driving a Can-Am X3, the duo won the final stage in Pisco on August 9, marking their second consecutive championship in the category. Chirinos indicated that his next objective is preparing for the Caminos del Inca.

In Argentina, the 51st edition of the Gran Premio de la Hermandad was won by the father-son duo Lucas and Marcelo Garro. Competing in a Honda Civic, the Ushuaia-based team took first place in the general classification and the G category, arriving first at the Porvenir waterfront. The second-place general finish went to Branko Guic and Gonzalo Cerda.
