Regional sporting and cultural events scheduled in Vasto Marina and Vieste

Various local events are scheduled in Italy's coastal regions. In Vasto Marina, the Festival Le Vele will take place on September 26 at the Centro Nautico. Organized by Le Vele Wind Sup School as part of the San Michele patronal feast, the event focuses on nautical disciplines including windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wingfoil. The festival is free and open to the public, featuring dynamic courses and a social gathering on the beach. In the event of low wind, SUP regattas will be held instead.

In Vieste, the first edition of the Galà dello Sport is set for September 27 at Piazza della Marina Piccola. Promoted by the Municipality of Vieste, the gala aims to celebrate local sporting excellence and associations while highlighting social inclusion through sports. The event features guests such as former Juventus goalkeeper Stefano Tacconi and Paralympic athlete Annalisa Minetti.
