Regional cultural and sporting events in Italy

Overview

Various regional cultural and sporting events are being held across different coastal areas in Italy.

In the mid-September period, cultural celebrations focused on water themes, including the ‘Festa delle Acque’ in Ameglia, which showcased photographic works inspired by local legends, and the ‘Riviera Fiorita’ in Riviera del Brenta, which concluded with a traditional water procession of decorated boats.

By late September, the focus shifted toward nautical sports and community celebrations. Vasto Marina scheduled the ‘Festival Le Vele’ to feature windsurfing, kitesurfing, and wingfoil disciplines, while Vieste organized the inaugural ‘Galà dello Sport’ to celebrate local athletic excellence and social inclusion.
