Regional sports facilities undergo infrastructure renovations

Regional sports facilities are undergoing significant renovations in Argentina and Venezuela. In Posadas, Misiones, the Ministry of Sports has reopened the renovated Instituto del Deporte. The infrastructure improvements included a new parquet floor for the basketball court, updated lighting, new bathrooms, offices, and a repainted facade. The reopening was marked by youth basketball and taekwondo activities.

In San Cristóbal, Venezuela, the Juan Maldonado swimming pool is being progressively rehabilitated. Olympic swimmer Erwin Maldonado, through his foundation, is leading the efforts to restore the complex. Recent improvements include the installation of new lane lines to facilitate competition and training, aiming to provide a space for future generations of swimmers to train.
